Elizabeth has served uninterrupted as a Castle trustee and director since November 2007. Her length of service, legal expertise and longstanding commitment to Castle make her uniquely placed to guide the Board’s strategic and operational decision making.

Isla has been with the board since October 2010, she is the head teacher of a local special needs school and has a wealth of experience in management, HR, Policies, working with vulnerable and disadvantaged groups.
Trustee & Health & Safety Champion
Appointed to the Board in January 2014. Kat has years’ experience as a Trading Standards Trading officers acting on behalf of consumers and businesses, advising on and enforce laws that govern the way goods and services are bought.
Kat has recently taken on the role of Health and Safety Champion to support the staff and Board.
Appointed to the Board in September 2014, Adrian runs a highly successful retail outlet.
A seasoned veteran in the world of business he brings a wealth of commercial knowledge, experience and business acumen to the management of Castle which has proven especially valuable in the recent expansion and diversification by the organisation into new areas of enterprise.
Rowena brings a unique depth of understanding and perception of the ways in which Castle is able to benefit those who engage with the organisation.
Rowena has been involved with Castle since May 2017. She has a thorough understanding of the organisation’s development and evolution into a social enterprise.
Her experiences of the organisation make her uniquely placed to represent the interests of Castle’s beneficiaries.
Rowena has specialist knowledge of working with and supporting people with learning disabilities in her role as a speech and language therapist.
Cllr Tony Miklinski CBE
Cllr Tony Miklinski is the Scottish Conservative & Unionist councillor for Cupar and joined Castle as an Elected Member in 20
Born and educated in Dundee, and following a short teaching career (while also playing in goal for Forfar Athletic), Tony joined the Royal Navy. His Naval career included passing the Royal Marines Commando Course, fighting with 42 Commando RM in the Falklands War and finishing as the Defence Director of Training and Education in the MOD. He was awarded the CBE in 2006.
More recently, he was Chair of Highland Headway and Highland Autism Improvement Group. For the last 2 years he has lived near Ceres with his wife and son, who is on the autistic spectrum.
