Castle Enterprise Scotland Ltd (we/us/our) are committed to operating in a way that complies fully with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998.  We recognise that the personal data legitimately required in order to carry out our business must be collected, processed, stored and disposed of fairly, lawfully and with due regard to confidentiality. All Castle Enterprise Scotland workers and employees have responsibilities under the Data Protection Act 1998 and are trained appropriately for their specific roles on complying with the provisions of the Act. Managers are trained to ensure that within their areas their staff and workers are aware of their responsibilities and adhere to the relevant requirements and processes.

We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way.  We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, address, phone number); , comments and feedback.

When you fill in a form on our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used to facilitate a response to your concern, query or request for a service.  We will never sell your information. We will never pass on your information unless there is a legal requirement to do so.

If you are requesting a service from us such as a collection, sale, delivery or membership, your information will be transferred into our internal systems and will be used to provide our service to you.   We require to hold details of donors and purchasers of goods for a period of time to ensure necessary compliance with the sales of goods act, licensing and HMRC (Gift Aid).   Further information can be found in our Data Protection Statement.

Our company website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications.   • "nlbi_{ID}" a persistent cookie for security

  • "XSRF-TOKEN" a persistent cookie for security

  • "smSession" a two week cookie to identity any logged in members.

  • A range of cookies related to Google Analytics to monitor visitors to the site, pages visited and technology used.​​

    • "_ga" a 2 year cookie used to distinguish users​

    • "__utma" a persistent cookie​ to keep track of the number of times you have been on the site.

    • "__utmb" & "__utmc" session cookies that work together to calculate how long you spent on the site.

    • "__utmz"a 6 month cookie that keeps track of where you came from, what search engine you used, what keyword you used and where in the world you were when you accessed the site.
