Suicide Awareness & Intervention
(safeTALK & ASIST)
​There are two courses delivered by our LivingWorks and Public Health Scotland (PHS) registered trainer:​
​
safeTALK: A half-day course which focuses on being alert to the possibility of suicide and how a helper can identify a person at risk and signpost them to someone who can keep them safe
ASIST: A two-day course which is based on a suicide intervention model and focuses on the skills needed to intervene when a person is at risk of suicide
